This fall and winter, sign up for our weekly Produce Boxes and support many, many local farms and makers from WNC. We have local honey, pickles, homemade pies & sourdough breads and more baked goods, raw milk, fresh pork, beef, and chicken (while supplies last!), honey, locally roasted coffee, organic teas, elderberry syrup, tallow products, household items such as laundry detergent, kitchen towels, and so much more!
HOW IT WORKS: Sign up HERE for our weekly emails, which are sent on Fridays. Order by Monday at 12pm OR skip a week! There’s zero commitment to order weekly but the emails will arrive in your inbox every Friday. Orders will be put together and you will receive an invoice which needs to be paid PRIOR to pick-up. Then choose your pick up day—either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday—and come pick up from our Farm Stand, located at 148 Chambers Farm Lane in Canton.

🌿Pizza Chef Wanted – Come Work in the Garden! 🌿
Location: The Ten Acre Garden – Canton, NC 148 Chambers Farm Lane, Canton, NC 28716 located 25 minutes west of Asheville in an idyllic mountain farm growing with organic practices.
We’re looking for a pizza chef to join our team at The Ten Acre Garden. We grow our ingredients using organic practices and source our ingredients directly from the farm to have the freshest pizzas available each Saturday and Sunday.
Nestled in a peaceful valley by the river with sweeping views of the Smoky Mountains, our u-pick flower, veggie, and berry farm grows everything with organic practices—and we make pizzas that highlight all of it and host live music Saturdays for an experience crowds come out and return every year for.
About the Role:
We’re hiring a Pizza Chef to create delicious, wood-fired pizzas using our seasonal ingredients, homemade sauces, and pesto bases. You’ll be part of a small team serving fresh, local food to a community that loves good eats and beautiful views.
Prep during the week, service on weekends (Saturdays & Sundays)
Seasonal position but growing!: now through October and year-round beginning in 2026
Brick oven experience is a plus but we’ll train the right person
Creativity with toppings encouraged—we love pizza that tells the story of Appalachian seasons.

Greenstalk Vertical Garden Planters—now available at The Ten Acre Garden!
We are now an official distrubutor of Greenstalk Vertical Garden Planters—we use them in our greenhouse and wanted to offer them locally to WNC. We submitted our first wholesale order and will have some in by the end of March. If you’re interested in some for your home, please send us an email to set up a time to come see the planters!
