WELCOME TO THE TEN ACRE GARDEN
A gathering spot for U-pick berries, veggies, & flowers.
Hay wagon rides, music and pizza, bees and veggies, all nestled in the Great Smoky Mountains.
A Multi-generational family farm
Meet the new owners
Meet the owners of The Ten Acre Garden—Mark and Morgan Davies and Morgan’s mother Cynthia Goff, aka Grams. In 2024, we took the reins of this beloved farm, working hand-in-hand with Danny, and of course, Ella and Zig-Zag, the loyal farm dogs. Together, we’re committed to honoring Danny’s vision while nurturing and growing the farm.
In previous lives, Mark was a state park ranger and tax preparer, Cindy a nurse, and Morgan a teacher librarian and photographer. Our family expanded greatly while Morgan was teaching in Germany and with the arrival of the Interns, we needed the help of our family. Cindy sold a farm in Ohio and we moved our family internationally to settle for good in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
We love sharing the Garden with old friends, newcomers, and take great honor in being stewards of Cherokee land. As a U-Pick farm, we proudly follow organic practices, offering you the freshest and most sustainable produce. Our farm stand is stocked with a variety of local goods, including our own seasonal harvests, handmade crafts, and unique finds from local artisans. Whether you’re looking for fresh produce, farm-fresh eggs, or a special gift, our farm stand has something for everyone. We also host a variety of classes on topics ranging from gardening to crafting, creating a space where everyone can learn and grow. We’re honored to cultivate this land, which is rooted in the rich history of the ᏣᎳᎫᏪᏘᏱ Tsalaguwetiyi (Cherokee, East), S’atsoyaha (Yuchi), and Miccosukee peoples. We can’t wait to welcome you to the garden and the farm stand this season!
