Chili Cook Off at The Fall Festival

Join us for a flavorful showdown at the Ten Acre Garden Fall Festival Chili Cook-Off on October 6th! Show off your best chili recipe and compete for the title of Chili Champion 2024. Whether your chili is spicy, mild, or somewhere in between, this is your chance to shine and win exciting prizes.

Event Details:

Date: October 6th

Time: 3:00 PM - 5:00PM

Judging and Tasting: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Public Tasting and Ticket Purchases: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM

Entry Fee: $15 per participant/team
Includes: table and access to electricity, utensils, bowls, sour cream, cheese, and red onions provided. And of course, a trophy for the Chili Champion AND $50 cash!

What You Need to Know:
Chili Preparation:
All chili must be fully prepared and cooked prior to the event. Cooking on-site is not allowed.
Crockpots: Please bring your chili in a crockpot ready to eat. 

Quantity: Prepare a minimum of 1 gallon of chili to ensure there is enough for judging and public tasting.

Arrival and Setup: Arrive and set up your station by 2:30 PM.
Judging: Chili will be judged based on taste, texture, aroma, and appearance. Participants should be present at their station from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Public Tasting: The event will open to the public for tasting and ticket purchases at 4:00 PM.
Food Safety: Follow all food safety guidelines. Clearly list any allergens present in your chili at your station.
Sportsmanship: Display good sportsmanship and conduct yourself in a professional manner.
